Truly
said by Dorothea Lange (American documentary photographer, 1895-1965)
“Photography
takes an instant out of time, altering life by holding it still.”
I
never thought there was so much to learn. Photography for me was just clicking photos. After I started studying visual communication, I felt there
was so much to learn and understand.
A good image always expresses, what it wants to convey.
Besides writing, photography is a key feature which is quite essential, in a journalist’s
career. Newspapers, magazines, advertisements, everything would be so dull, if
there would be no pictures, but only writing. Why
are magazines so beautiful, colorful and eye catchy, it’s because of the
photography that makes it so look attractive and gives it a "buy-me
look".

Photography
is a captivated refined art, which I would like to learn. Capturing photos with
natural lightening and texture is something, which I love about photography. Now a days there are different types of apps for photography, Instagram is one of the most famous examples of such apps. Now
days, images can also be edited and changed into different forms with different
lighting, textures and background. Therefore, enhancing the quality and form of
images.
original image with branch
New version
One
of the main examples are, the above two images. The first image is the original
one with branch and the second image, is the new - edited version of it without the branch.
I would like to share a symmetrical photo, which i really liked and came across through National geographic website. It's a photo from the deserts of Rajasthan, India. This photo was rated as the photo of the day by national geographic, it gives a beautiful sense of harmony.
Deserts of Rajasthan, India
In
the end, I would like to say that photography is a beautiful and captivating
art, which creates the best memory. It makes the simple walls of our houses,
attractive and lively, makes magazines, news, and articles interesting. Even the
Facebook without a profile photo looks quite dull and boring.
Thank you.
